  • Coverage Needed:
    • As soon as credentialed - ongoing
    • 6+ months
    • Will work at both clinic and hospital (clinic is across the street from the hospital)
    • Full time schedule:
      • Mon – Fri, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
      • Call: 1 week at a time
  • Clinical Information:
    • Will NOT cover Labor and Delivery
    • Support staff:
      • MFM (2 full time, 1 part time)
      • 2-4 sonographers
      • 1 APRN (rounds with MFM on call daily)
      • 2 Medical Assistants (MA)
      • Several Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM) that work with OBGYN team
    • NICU Level III – state of the art
    • Patients per day: 20-24 (1-6 in hospital for rounds with PA)
    • New Consults: 4-6 per day
    • U/S on new and follow up patients
    • EMR: EPIC
    • Ultrasound reporting software is GE Viewpoint
    • Call:
      • 1:3 call responsibilities shared with 2 other MFM providers
      • No in-house call
      • Call is from home, either accepting transfers and notifying the laborist of the patient that is coming
      • Some calls from laborist and nurses regarding some of our ante partum patient management
  • Required:
    • DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
    • Current Flu Vaccine
    • Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
      • Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
    • Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine
    • Active NV License or IMLC LOQ in hand
    • NV CSR/DEA
    • Life Support Certifications: ACLS, BLS
      • Prefer American Heart Association (AHA) approved certification, but will accept online certification from American Red Cross Training Services, Advanced Medical Certification, or ACLS Certification Institute
    • Required Procedures: Amniocentesis and cerclage
