A leading healthcare facility is currently seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician, Midwife, Nurse Practitioner - Specialized, or Physician Assistant - Specialized to join their outpatient women's health team. This role offers a flexible schedule with a focus on high-quality patient care.

About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Setting: Outpatient OBGYN
  • Patient Load: Approximately 20-25 patients per day
  • Coverage Need: 6-month assignment
  • Privileges Required: Credentialing process takes 60-90 days
  • Call: No call at this time (Call may be required if a physician is selected)
  • Procedures Required:
    • Colposcopy
    • Endometrial biopsy
    • Vulvar biopsy
    • Sonohysterogram
    • LEEP
  • Fellowship Requirement: Required
  • Telehealth Experience: Not required

Responsibilities:

The OB/GYN Physician, Midwife, Nurse Practitioner - Specialized, or Physician Assistant - Specialized will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive patient evaluations and providing gynecologic and obstetric care
  • Performing in-office procedures, including colposcopy, biopsies, and LEEP
  • Managing prenatal, postpartum, and routine gynecological care
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and adhering to best practices and compliance standards

Qualifications:

  • Minimum (insert years of experience based on client preference) in women's health or OB/GYN
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with an OB/GYN specialization, or Advanced Practice degree (APRN, PA, or Midwifery Certification)
  • Board Certification required (specific to role)
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
  • Experience performing in-office gynecologic procedures
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting

Desired Skills:

  • Additional experience in outpatient women's health settings
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary care environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR (if applicable)
