A leading healthcare facility is currently seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician, Midwife, Nurse Practitioner - Specialized, or Physician Assistant - Specialized to join their outpatient women's health team. This role offers a flexible schedule with a focus on high-quality patient care.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Setting: Outpatient OBGYN
- Patient Load: Approximately 20-25 patients per day
- Coverage Need: 6-month assignment
- Privileges Required: Credentialing process takes 60-90 days
- Call: No call at this time (Call may be required if a physician is selected)
- Procedures Required:
- Colposcopy
- Endometrial biopsy
- Vulvar biopsy
- Sonohysterogram
- LEEP
- Fellowship Requirement: Required
- Telehealth Experience: Not required
Responsibilities:
The OB/GYN Physician, Midwife, Nurse Practitioner - Specialized, or Physician Assistant - Specialized will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive patient evaluations and providing gynecologic and obstetric care
- Performing in-office procedures, including colposcopy, biopsies, and LEEP
- Managing prenatal, postpartum, and routine gynecological care
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintaining accurate medical records and adhering to best practices and compliance standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum (insert years of experience based on client preference) in women's health or OB/GYN
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with an OB/GYN specialization, or Advanced Practice degree (APRN, PA, or Midwifery Certification)
- Board Certification required (specific to role)
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
- Experience performing in-office gynecologic procedures
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting
Desired Skills:
- Additional experience in outpatient women's health settings
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary care environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR (if applicable)
