We are currently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OBGYN Physician to provide locum coverage at a hospital setting in Richmond, VA. This position involves 24-hour call coverage, which includes inpatient rounding during the day and on-site evening call responsibilities. The physician will care for adult patients, with an average of 11 patients per day. The role includes both outpatient and inpatient care, with charting and dictation performed using EMR systems: eCW for outpatient and Meditech for inpatient. As a Locums OBGYN Physician, you will provide comprehensive care for adult patients, including both routine and emergency obstetric and gynecological services. Your duties will include performing inpatient rounding during the day and handling on-site evening call coverage. You will also be responsible for managing deliveries, performing gynecological surgeries, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation in both outpatient and inpatient EMR systems (eCW and Meditech). Collaboration with hospital staff and specialists will be crucial in providing high-quality patient care.

This role involves 24-hour call coverage, including inpatient rounding and evening on-site call. The average patient volume is 11 per day, ensuring a manageable workload while providing comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Current and valid Virginia State Medical License.
• Current DEA and CSR certifications.
• Ability to manage 11 patients per day, with a focus on high-quality care.
• Experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings, familiar with eCW and Meditech EMR systems.
