Lawrence General, the 189-bed hospital is an acute care and surgical facility that has served the Lawrence community since 1886. Delivering more than 1,600 babies a year, the hospital is home to a level II special care nursery, private labor & delivery and maternity rooms, and educational classes for new parents.​

We are currently seeking physicians for full-time, part-time, or per diem roles.

We can customize your schedule to avoid any conflicts with your FT practice. Working only 2 shifts a month is an extra 100k per year.

• 24 Hour Shifts
• Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage: In OBED
• Required to Perform Circumcisions: Yes
• Needed for First Assist: Yes
• First Assist Available to the Hospitalists: Yes – FP residents
• Hospitalists to Backup Midwives: Yes
• Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice: Yes
• Backup Available to the Hospitalists: Yes

Qualifications

• Board Certified – ABOG, AOBOG
• Active state license, DEA, CSR
• Minimum 150 deliveries the past 24 months
• Minimum 25 GYN surgeries the last 24 months

Working Hours

• 24-hour shifts - typically 7a-7a or 8a-8a
