Obstetrics & Gynecology Locum in Abilene, Texas (TX)

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Obstetrics & Gynecology/Physician to work locum shifts in Abilene, Texas (TX). The anticipated start is ASAP, work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Obstetrics & Gynecology Role:

• NICU level: III Neonatal Designation (25 beds)
• Cases/Procedures distribution: All emergent and unassigned OB and GYN. Coverage of all private physicians after hours.
• Average Monthly Locum Deliveries: 8
• Average Monthly Patient Encounters: 164
• Support Staff: MFM, In-house Anesthesia
• Perform Circumcisions: Yes

Required:

• TX state license; active, unrestricted
• Board certified OBGYN
• TX State DEA
• BLS, ACLS, NRP
• 100 deliveries in the past 24 months no assisted, but preformed
• 25 GYN Cases in the last 12 months

Schedule:

• Estimated Start Date: March 2025-Ongoing
• Shift times: 9a-9a
