DESCRIPTION:

• 24 hour shifts only (8:30a-8:30a)
• Hospitalist to provide GYN coverage: YES
• Hospitalist required to perform circumcisions: No
• NICU Level: Level IV
• Backup available to hospitalist: YES
• Residency Program: No
• Other specifics: High-Risk OB and Maternal Transport
• Expected patients per day: 12
• Facility average deliveries per month: 355 for facility, 39 for OB Hospitalists
• Type of patients, cases, procedures distribution: OB ED, Unassigned deliveries
• In-House ANES, MFM on site, any backup or assist: MFM on site, in-house ANES

REQUIRED:

• TX state license; active, unrestricted
• Board certified OBGYN
• TX State DEA
• BLS, ACLS
• 100 deliveries in past 24 months no assisted, but preformed
• 25 GYN Cases in the last 12 months

COMPENSATION:

• Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing and transportation needs, etc
