DESCRIPTION:

• OB Hospitalist need
• Starting asap on-going. Minimum of 3 shifts per month needed
• 24 hour in-house shifts only. 8:30a-8:30a
• Type of Patients/Cases/Procedures: deliveries, c-sections, OB ED cases, general GYN cases
• Hospitalist to provide GYN coverage
• Not required to perform circumcisions
• Back-up available to the Hospitalists: Yes
• Anticipated Volume: Hospitalists see 397 patients per month, 37% high risk, 12 deliveries per month
• Patients per day: 12
• Level III NICU
• ANES In-house
• MFM not on-site, FP residents but OB hospitalist don't supervise
• FP residency but Hospitalists don't supervise
• Busy OBED/triage
• Very tenured nursing staff.

REQUIRED:

• TX state license; active, unrestricted
• Board certified OBGYN
• TX State DEA
• BLS, ACLS

COMPENSATION:

• Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing and transportation needs, etc
