  • Minimum of 32 patient contact hours per week plus rounding and call
  • On-call schedule/ratio: 1/6 shared equitably with other employed OB/GYNs
  • Average patients a day: 20-25
  • Weekend schedule/ratio: 1/6 shared equitably with other employed OB/GYNs
  • Opportunity for an OB-GYN seeking a rural-style practice with the support of a large health system and a well-organized multispecialty group practice.
  • 100-bed community hospital
  • 20-bed LDR unit with a spa-like atmosphere
  • Strong network of primary care clinics and specialty care providers
  • Support includes Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncologist, 4-bed Level II NICU, 24/7 CRNA Anesthesia, Emergency Department, and a SAMG network of 74 Primary & Specialty Care clinics
  • Access to larger system resources
  • Additional support includes Gyn Onc, MFM, Certified Nurse Midwives, Neonatologists, Genetic Counselors, and 24-hour onsite anesthesia coverage on labor and delivery
  • OB Hospitalist service available
  • NICU team follows a family-centered approach with outcomes exceeding national benchmarks
  • Retirement/move is the reason for coverage
  • Desired start date: ASAP
  • Practice setting: Rounds, Clinic
  • Documentation System/EMR: EPIC with Dax

Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree - REQUIRED
Board Eligible (to become BC within 3 years of employment) or Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
ID license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited obstetrics & gynecology residency program - REQUIRED
DEA (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
CDS/CSR (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
Clean Malpractice & License History - REQUIRED
