Central Texas! We are hiring for a OB/ GYN Physician for inpatient coverage!
Job Details:

Start Date: As soon as credentialing is complete

Schedule: Full-time is considered 7.5 24-hour shifts a month. Will consider someone who wants to work a minimum of 5.5 24-hour shifts/month

Setting: Inpatient
-
Call coverage: None
Procedures/ responsibilities:
-
5% of the vaginal and C-section deliveries performed by hospitalists.
-
Manage a 40% C-section rate in the delivery caseload.
-
Oversee 2,296 unscheduled outpatient OB/GYN triage visits annually.

Conduct 1,229 OBED consults each year.
-
Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a Level II NICU setting.
-
Work with maternal-fetal medicine specialists to manage high-risk pregnancies.

Perform tasks including OB triage, admissions, attending deliveries, and inpatient care.

Provide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage.

Cover the OB floor and handle ER consults for GYN emergencies.
-
Assist in surgical procedures during Cesarean sections.
Job Requirements:

TRULY Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in OB/GYN

Active TX license (or in process)

Clean malpractice and license history

Salary range: $213 000 and $290 000 per year
