OB-GYN Opportunity in Annapolis, MD - Full-time, permanent position Position Objective: To deliver comprehensive medical care and services to patients within the OB-GYN specialty, adhering to the rules, regulations, and policies established by the State of Maryland, BPQA, AMA, HCFA, and AAMC. Patient Care and Education: - Provide education and counseling to patients tailored to their medical needs. Licensure and Continuing Education: - Maintain current Maryland state licensure and fulfill continuing medical education (CME) requirements. Collaboration with Physicians: - Communicate and collaborate with other physicians regarding treatment plans and therapies for patients. On-Call Responsibilities: - Participate in scheduled on-call rotations for the group. Specialist Referrals and Adherence: - Refer patients to specialists as needed. - Perform duties in accordance with routine procedures established by Maryland s BPQA, AMA, HCFA, and AAHS policies. Educational and Experience Requirements: Graduate of an accredited medical school (Doctor of Medicine or equivalent). Successful completion of a residency program in the OB-GYN specialty. Required Licenses and Certifications: Active Maryland State medical license to practice medicine. Valid DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) license. Valid CDS (Controlled Dangerous Substances) certification. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
