OB/GYN Physician needed in Nashville

Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care including routine and high-risk pregnancies, preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and management of various conditions related to women’s health.
  • Clinical Duties: Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, perform surgeries, and provide prenatal and postnatal care.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on preventive care, family planning, contraceptive options, and overall reproductive health.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, and specialists, to deliver coordinated care.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
  • Emergency Care: Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care when necessary.
  • Continuing Education: Stay current with advances in the field of obstetrics and gynecology through ongoing education and training.
Qualifications:
  • Medical Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certification: Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Licensure: Able to obtain a Valid and active medical license in the Tennessee upon offer .
  • Experience: Previous experience in an OB/GYN setting preferred, but new graduates will also be considered.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
