Seeking a full-time academic-minded OB Laborist with a passion for teaching the next generation of physician learners. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team that blends academic medicine with clinical practice across Dayton and the surrounding region.
As a faculty member, you will:
- Play an integral role in educating and training medical students, residents, and fellows, while providing care to a diverse patient population in a variety of clinical settings.
- Contribute to improving patient outcomes, advancing clinical innovation, and shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.
- Participate in didactic teaching, journal clubs, clinical case conferences, and other teaching assignments for residents and medical students, as assigned by and in collaboration with the department and academic leadership.
- Contribute to the Department's clinical/patient care, research, and teaching missions.
- Participate in education/supervision of medical students/residents in various settings including OB admission, delivery, and postpartum needs.
