Job Description: Locum OB/GYN Physician

Shift Details

• Shift Type: 24-hour call (7a-7a), including 4 hours gratis
• Schedule:
  • 7 shifts per month
  • Call coverage at two facilities
• Weekend Requirement: Yes
• Average Call Volumes:
  • 2-3 patient calls per month for every 7 days of call
  • GYN emergencies are rare (1 every few months)

Rate Caps

• Regular Call (Daily): $2,000 per 24-hour call (includes 4 hours gratis)
• Call Back: $265 per hour after gratis hours are completed

Job Requirements

• Board Certification: OB/GYN (Required), or Truly BE (0-5 years post-residency)
• Active Utah License
• BLS & PALS Certification
• DEA: Required (site will consider transferred DEA but must be kept for the duration of the assignment)
• Controlled Substance Registration (CSR): Required for credentialing
• Availability: Minimum of 7 shifts per month
• EMR: Epic
  • EMR Training Requirements:
    • Must complete module training and virtual EMR training prior to the first shift.
