Job Description
Seeking an OB/GYN Locum to provide clinic and on-call coverage in Enumclaw, WA. The position requires a skilled OB/GYN to manage both outpatient clinic duties and on-call responsibilities. The hospital is located in a beautiful, community-focused setting, and the OB/GYN team is collaborative, consisting of OB/GYNs, Family Practice OBs, and Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM).
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinic Coverage (3 Days/Week, Preferred):
- Provide OB/GYN outpatient care in a shared clinic setting
- Manage routine and complex OB/GYN cases
- Support staff: Medical Assistants (MA) or LPNs in the clinic
- On-Call Coverage (7-8 Shifts/Month):
- 24-hour on-call shifts, 7 AM to 7 AM, with 20-minute response time
- Be available via cell phone for emergencies during on-call shifts
- Call responsibilities include OB and GYN coverage in the Labor & Delivery Unit and Emergency Department
- Required Procedures:
- C-Section
- Ectopic Pregnancy management
- Support Staff:
- L&D RNs at the hospital during on-call shifts
- MA or LPN in clinic
Schedule & Availability Requirements:
- Clinic Schedule:
- 3 clinic days per week, ideally 3 weeks per month
- On-Call Schedule:
- 7-8 call shifts per month
- Call can be combined with clinic days for convenience
- Multiple part-time locums may be accepted to cover shifts, but preference is for one locum to maintain clinic consistency
Compensation and Rates:
- Hourly Rate: $195 per hour (clinic and callback hours)
- On-Call Daily Rate: $2000 per 24-hour period (includes 4 hours gratis)
- Average Callback Hours:
- Weekdays: 3-4 hours
- Weekends: 1-2 hours
Required Qualifications:
- Board Certification: OB/GYN
- License: Washington State
- Experience:
- Ability to manage C-sections and ectopic pregnancies
- Proficient in both OB and GYN care
- Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and emergency care in L&D
- EMR Experience: Epic
