Our client, a diverse and community-centric organization, seeks an OB/GYN Hospitalist for in-house obstetrical physician coverage. They are looking for a physician dedicated to improving families' health and wellness on the West Side and Southwest Side of Chicago.

Hospital services include a Level II NICU, full time anesthesia, a designated OB emergency department. The hospital has one of the lowest c-section rates in Chicago and offers a full range of Maternal Fetal Medicine, educational and support services.

Position Highlights:

• Work 6 to 8 shifts per month
• No call when not on shift
• Provides clinical supervision for the Certified Nurse Midwives and collaborates with Outpatient Clinic OB/GYN Providers and Laborists
• Manage unassigned patient admissions/deliveries and emergency department OB/GYN consultations
• Support Midwife laborists, performing c-sections and managing high-risk patients
• Perform GYN surgery, including laparoscopy
• Serve as first backup for surgical procedures

Salary/Benefits:

• $280,000- to $300,000 with hourly incentive pay for extra shifts
• Employed position with generous benefits
• The position qualifies for Illinois State Loan Forgiveness

Job Requirements:

• Board certified OB/GYN, experience preferred
• ACLS, CPR, NRP Certifications
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring Interpretation Skills
