OBGYN Hospitalist opening in upstate New York Potsdam, NY Located approx 1.5 hours to Montreal & Ottawa, CN Full-Time Employed Position Highlights: Full-Time Base Pay Range: $350,000-$450,000* Compensation with salary guarantee, performance based-incentives, sign on bonus Relocation services Paid malpractice insurance with full coverage RVU productivity incentive on top of guaranteed base up to MGMA 90th percentile Educational loan repayment negotiable Signing bonus Annual allowance for CME, Licensing, and Society membership expenses Comprehensive Benefits Package Two-part retirement savings plan with employer matching program (403b and 457b) Location/Area Canton and Potsdam are small, rural, college communities 11 miles apart with two colleges in each village. The primary sources of income are higher education and dairy farming, giving the area a stable economy and attractive appearance. Located between the St. Lawrence River and the foothills of the Adirondacks, the area offers something for every outdoor enthusiast from downhill and cross-country skiing, to hiking and mountain biking, to kayaking, camping, and swimming. The Village of Potsdam has a population of 10,000, rising to 18,000 when its two local colleges are in session. It is nestled in the St. Lawrence River Valley near the northern foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. Potsdam is known as a center for health care, education, and retail trade in Northern NY.
