**OBGYN Hospitalist Medical Director Opening Outside of Indianapolis, Indiana** -Located in Shelbyville, Indiana. -Full Time & Permanent Position. Seeking a Medical Director for our new OBGYN hospitalist program. Medical Directors collaborate and support the clinical team, work alongside the hospital leadership and medical staff while serving as part of the clinical team. The Medical Director reports to the National Medical Director (NMD) or Associate Regional Medical Director (AMD), and collaborates with the NMD/AMD, senior vice president of operations and director of operations to maintain close collaboration among the clinical team and hospital leadership, and drive patient safety and quality initiatives. Ideal candidates will be board-certified with at least 2 years of leadership experience, able to demonstrate clinical excellence with superior communication skills, practice clinically at the designated facility. Current deliveries (within last 2 years) required.
