**Locums Obstetrics and Gynecology Position in Massachusetts** Worcester, MA **Coverage** - Start: 11/1/2024 - End: 5/1/2025 **Position Details** - Practice Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient - EMR System: Cerner - Patients Per Shift: TBD - Beds in Department: TBD - Rounding: Not Required - Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call - Call Type: In-House - Call Response Time: TBD - Call Ratio: TBD - Call Back %: TBD - Phone Consults: TBD - Patients Seen: TBD - Admissions: TBD **Rate** - Need is urgent! Name your rate! **Facility Details** - Is Hospital Stroke Certified? Yes - Trauma Level: N/A **Requirements** - Minimum Board Certification: Certified - License Requirement: Licensed in MA only - The Following Certifications Are Required: ACLS, BLS - Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 30-60 days - Must provide 3 peer references from the last 2 years - Candidates must have recent OB experience and be willing to work in both the clinic and Labor & Delivery **Skills Required** - Low-Risk and High-Risk Pregnancy - FHR Interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) - OB Ultrasounds (Level I & Level II) - Amniocentesis - Routine and Complicated Deliveries (Vaginal, C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBACs) - Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations - Surgical Gynecology (Open and Laparoscopic) - Office/Minor Gynecology Procedures: IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, Cryosurgery, LEEP **Additional Information** - Estimated Patient Load: 40 deliveries per month - Nursery Level: 2B - High-Risk Protocol: Transfers to UMass Hospital (1 mile away) - Dedicated Anesthesia Team: Available 24 hours for L&D - Support Staff: Available in-unit at the time of call - Candidates must have less than $500k in malpractice claims and be able to work in a busy OB practice with 950 deliveries per year.
