Locum – Dover/Milford, Delaware, OB/GYN Hospitalist Job (IMLC Accepted)
- Clinical Role:

- Need 7 SPM covered at both sites which will include 1 weekend. All candidates need to be flexible in working at both facilities
- Target start date and Length of need: January 1st, 2025 – Dec 2025 – ongoing needs, possibly longer
- EMR System: EPIC
- Reason for Coverage: Physician Vacancies
- FTE or Shifts per month needed: (7) – 24hr shifts per month at both sites
- Inpatient and Outpatient
- Locums Shift Schedule: Requesting 7 shifts per month to include 1 weekend
- Shift Time: 8a-8a
- Shift Time: 7a-7a
- Type of Patients/Cases/Procedures Required:
- OB and GYN, C sections, minor gyn procedures, and any OB related procedures
- In patient and ED patients. All OB and emergent GYN
- Patient Encounters per shift:
- 8-12 patients in a 24 hour shift
- 12-18 per 24 hours
- Available support staff:
- Hospital Nursing Staff and OB Hospitalist who would also be working.
- Midwives and RN’s
- Vaccination Requirements: Flu and additional requirements
- Minimum candidate commitment to consider: 6 months
- Locations Inforamtion:
- Hospital averages 65 births per month. This position would be 100% hospital based. OB Hospitalist Group sees all unassigned patients. This position would cover the assigned patients. There is not a NICU at this location. Newborns needing NICU care are transferred to our sister hospital in Dover Delaware or Wilmington Delaware
- OB GYN available to work independently with a diverse population in a friendly and collaborative work environment. Inpatient volume= @125 monthly births ; NICU level II
- Board Certified/Board Eligible – Required
- Will accept Active License, IMLC, Standard Process
