  • Shift Type: 24Hour
  • Possible Weekend Requirement
  • Summary: looking for an Obstetrician & Gynecologist to provide inpatient coverage for gaps. Providers should be comfortable with all OB/Gyn procedures. Will be responsible for daily rounding on all patients admitted to the service as well as any consult received during the assignment.
  • Setting: Acute Care inpatient/outpatient hospital. 268 bed regional referral center
  • Duties: Be on-call to the emergency department for precipitous deliveries, both vaginal and c-section Gynecology call to the emergency department; consultation & treatment as needed.
  • Required Procedures: Diagnosis and management of conditions occurring during pregnancy through postpartum Major & minor abdominal and vaginal surgical procedures upon the female pelvis and related structures
  • Support Staff: Inpatient coverage only- hospital staff
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible - REQUIRED
  • NE license or IMLC - REQUIRED
  • ACGME/AOA accredited Residency Training Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology - REQUIRED
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA, NRP - REQUIRED
  • Travel & Lodging Covered
