OB/GYN opening in Tyler, TX Join a collaborative and established OB/GYN team in Tyler, TX. We are seeking a dynamic and team-oriented OB/GYN Physician who values patient care, effective communication, and work-life balance. Clinic-Based Team Highlights:

  • 9 Board-Certified Physicians (tenure between 7-25 years).
  • 4 Advanced Practice Clinicians.
  • 3 Clinic-Based Sonographers.
  • Experienced nursing and administrative staff support.
  • In-Clinic Lab and antenatal testing available.
Hospital-Based Team Highlights: Maternal Fetal Medicine and Gynecology Oncology Physicians on-site. 24/7 OB/GYN Hospitalist Physician support for acute patient assessments. Call Schedule: Rotating call schedule with a 24-hour shift once every 1-2 weeks. Weekend call once every 4-6 weeks (Friday noon to Monday 7 AM). EHR System: Epic EMR with OB monitoring through Centricity and mobile access via Haiku. Hospital Facilities: Operating Room: 6 da Vinci Xi Robotic Rooms with the busiest robotics program in the region (203 robotic cases in June 2023). Dedicated Robotics Coordinator and Womens Service Line Coordinator. Surgical block time allotted based on need. OR turnover average: 33 minutes. Labor and Delivery: 14 updated labor rooms, 5 OBED triage rooms, and 3 ORs. OBED staffed by 24/7 OB Hospitalist Physicians. 24/7 Anesthesia coverage. Certified RNs. Postpartum Unit: 27 private rooms with treatment and overflow areas. Certified RNs. Antepartum Unit: 7 rooms with a dedicated ultrasound suite.
