Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: The Lead Clinician is responsible for communicating, implementing and monitoring the operational and strategic objectives of OSF MG. Through strong working relationships with physicians and administrative leaders, ensures the provision of quality care delivery and standardized efficient operations in the assigned site(s). Serves as a visionary leader and role model of the OSF Leader Core Competencies. Positively support the OSF vision and Key Results. Lead the process of change within the assigned site(s). Supports a culture of continuous improvement and conveys the need for change to Mission Partners, so they are able to see the vision and reason for change. The Lead Clinician works as a leadership dyad with the Manager, Physician Offices of the assigned site(s) within the OSF Medical Group (OSF MG).


Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Doctorate Other Licenses/Certifications: Active medical license with a board certification. Experience 2 years of experience in the clinical delivery of medical care. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: ​Experience: Experience in leadership in an integrated delivery health system. Active participation in medical group management education is desirable. Certification in area of specialty Other requirements/information: Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to successfully lead and motivate a workforce.
