Fort Worth, Texas, OB/GYN Hospitalist Physician Job
- Clinical Role:
- Seeking an additional Board Certified or Board Eligible OB Hospitalist! Serving more than 50,000 patients each year, this hospital is a vital part of the communities in North Fort Worth, Haslet, Justin, Roanoke and surrounding areas
- Full-time is considered 7.5 24-hour shifts a month
- Will consider someone who wants to work a minimum of 5.5-hour shifts/month (still benefit eligible)
- Seeking a provider who can start with an active Texas license as soon as possible
- Handle an annual delivery volume of 1,924, with 96 vaginal and C-section deliveries performed by hospitalists
- Manage a 40% C-section rate in the delivery caseload
- Oversee 2,296 unscheduled outpatient OB/GYN triage visits annually
- Conduct 1,229 OBED consults each year
- Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a Level II NICU setting
- Work with maternal-fetal medicine specialists to manage high-risk pregnancies
- Perform tasks including OB triage, admissions, attending deliveries, and inpatient care
- Provide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage
- Cover the OB floor and handle ER consults for GYN emergencies
- Assist in surgical procedures during Cesarean sections
- Respond to emergencies in the labor and delivery unit

In addition to providing quality care in a number of medical services such as women’s health, emergency care and heart and vascular, our employees spend a substantial number of hours volunteering outside of the hospital.
