- Full-time is considered 7.5 24-hour shifts a month
- Will consider someone who wants to work a minimum of 5.5-hour shifts/month (still benefit eligible)
- Seeking a provider who can startwith an active Texas license as soon as possible
- Handle an annual delivery volume of 1,924, with 96 vaginal and C-section deliveries performed by hospitalists.
- Manage a 40% C-section rate in the delivery caseload.
- Oversee 2,296 unscheduled outpatient OB/GYN triage visits annually.
- Conduct 1,229 OBED consults each year.
- Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a Level II NICU setting.
- Work with maternal-fetal medicine specialists to manage high-risk pregnancies.
- Perform tasks including OB triage, admissions, attending deliveries, and inpatient care.
- Provide care for unassigned patients and assist with private call coverage.
- Cover the OB floor and handle ER consults for GYN emergencies.
- Assist in surgical procedures during Cesarean sections.
- Respond to emergencies in the labor and delivery unit.
- This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area.
