• 8am - 8am
• Urgent dates of coverage: 10/23(8a)-10/31(8a)
• 14-17 shifts per month
• Minimum availability: .8 FTE in the clinic, 1 weekend call per month

Clinical Details

• Ambulatory Clinic for office visits/procedures and Hospital OP and IP for surgeries, call and deliveries
• Duties: full scope OB/GYN in the clinic and hospital setting
• Patients Per Day: 20-24
• Patient volume (# of deliveries): 38-40 per month for the department
• NICU level: Level 1, transfer if necessary
• High risk patients: Yes, advanced maternal age, gestational diabetes; shipped to different facility
• Anesthesia shared with general surgery, not necessarily in-house
• MFM consultation readily available
• Call: includes L&D admitting and rounding. Provider could take call from home if provider lives or stays close to the hospital; practically speaking, especially with patients spending hours in labor, it might be easier to just stay in-house

Requirements

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible
• Active CA License
• Fellowship trained OB/GYN
• BLS, DEA
• NRP, ACLS - highly preferred
• Clean malpractice history - Clean strongly preferred; will otherwise consider on case-by-case basis
• Required Procedures: Usual and customary for an OB/GYN practice
• Case logs requirements for C-sections or deliveries
• Must be able to take hospital call
