***OB/Gyn opening in Newport, Oregon** - Located along the Oregon coast in Newport, OR - Full-time, permanent position **Position Overview:** - Seeking a full-time OB/GYN to join our team in Newport, OR - PSLF eligible, full-scope practice, water views from the hospital OB/GYN in Newport, OR - Newly constructed hospital within the past few years - Our clinicians address the full range of OB/GYN care needs, including well-woman exams, contraception, obstetric care, screening for STDs, and treatment for menstrual disorders, infertility, hormone imbalance, urinary incontinence and other concerns. **Job Specifics:** - $40k+ in financial incentives (starting bonus and relocation funds) available on your first payroll check - Additional compensation ($25k annually for 5 years) available to assist with loans, or be otherwise used at your discretion! - $3k annually for CME - Join a team of 2 other full-scope ob/gyn physicians, and a nurse practitioner - 34 patient contact hours/week, inclusive of rounding, clinic, and OR time (call is separate) - 3 clinic days (16-20 pts/day) and 1 OR day/week - 24-hour call with 1:3 frequency - Hospital averages 140 births annually (12 births/month) - Expectation to work with FM residents and medical students **Job Requirements:** - Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN (new grads encouraged to apply!) - Eligible to work in the United States - Should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team-oriented **Location details:** Nestled between the Coast Range and the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean, Newport boasts some of the most breathtaking scenery on the central Oregon Coast with vast stretches of rugged cliffs, lush vegetation and sandy beaches.
