We are seeking a Locums OBGYN Physician to provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care in Terre Haute, Indiana. Multiple shifts available/ month, providing 24-hour call coverage for both the Labor & Delivery (L&D) and Emergency Room (ER) departments. This position is ideal for a physician experienced in handling obstetric emergencies and committed to offering high-quality maternal care. This position involves 24-hour call coverage, including OB/GYN call for the facility's L&D and ER departments. The facility requires monthly coverage to ensure 24/7 obstetrics ER call availability, in line with its maternal level 2 designation. Preference will be given to candidates with an active Indiana license. The hospital features a Level II NICU and perinatal services, including seven fully equipped birthing suites, 11 private mother/baby postpartum rooms, and two OB-specific operating rooms, in addition to nine main ORs. The facility also boasts a modern safety and security system, family-centered care, and educational services for patients. There is 24-hour in-house anesthesia coverage, ensuring comprehensive support for the obstetric services provided. The hospital averages 10-12 deliveries per month. On average, the physician will handle around three patients per day, managing any OB/GYN cases that present at the hospital.

Requirements:

  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required
  • OB call coverage experience
  • An active Indiana medical license is preferred, but candidates without one will also be considered
