* Seeking a BC/BE OBGYN physician to join two OB/GYNs, and two Certified Nurse-Midwives in providing compassionate, high-quality care to obstetrical and gynecological patients drawn from multiple communities.
* Full-time: 40 45 hours/week, including operating room time
* Patients: Community profile includes a sizeable population of women for whom gynecological surgical procedures and urodynamic testing are becoming increasingly important.
* On-Call Rotation 1:3
* The leader of deliveries, north of Bangor Maine, with over 200 deliveries annually
* High-risk mothers and neonates are referred for delivery to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.
* The Women's & Children's Health Center is located downstairs from Cary Medical Center, providing inside access within minutes to the labor/delivery/postpartum unit of the hospital.
* OB unit and team are award-winning and have a well-earned reputation as the warmest, friendliest, and most desirable place to deliver babies north of Bangor.
* Specialists available in Pines Caribou offices include urology, orthopedic and general surgery, and ophthalmology.
* Access to Cary Medical Center outpatient clinics including diabetes counseling and nutritional therapy
Join a physician practice management organization with 40 physicians and 20 mid-level providers. The health system's Maine locations include Caribou (3 offices), Presque Isle, Washburn, Fort Fairfield, and Van Buren. In the fall of 2007, the practice was designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center, providing enhanced access to health care services for all members of the community, and allowing the practice to employ providers holding H-1B and J-1 visas.
