Job Summary

Novant Health Maternal Fetal Medicine - Shipyard is seeking a MFM Specialist Provider. We are a referral-based practice that offers pre-natal diagnosis, genetic counseling, first trimester screening, amniocentesis, ante-partum testing, consultation, and management for high-risk pregnancies. Our new facility has 8 GE E10 ultrasound machines. The support staff includes 11 sonographers, 1 genetic counselor, 1 RN Clinical Supervisor, 1 LPN, 4 CMA's, and ancillary office staff. We also provide hospital consultations and work closely with the OB/GYN residency program for high-risk consultation and education. This practice is consultation only, no deliveries. Our organization serves the 5 surrounding counties for pre-natal diagnosis in Southeastern North Carolina.

Qualifications

Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
  • Completion of an accredited residency program required
  • For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  • Current MD license in appropriate state
  • Board certification or eligibility
  • Current DEA license required
