Locum OBGYN MD needed in Laurinburg, NC

Current client! Have 4 locums working here now. Client will move fast!

Daily Rate + Call Back + All Travel Expenses

EMR: Epic

License: NC

Certifications: BC or BE

Any high risk births? Yes

Scope of responsibilities (inpatient, outpatient, emergency, procedures, etc.) Daily rounds, Labor and Delivery, ER Consults, Hospitalist Consults, etc.

Volume? Differs

Number of physicians in group? 4 OB/GYN, 3 Midwives

Hospital details (trauma level, number of beds, etc.)? We do not have a trauma level at this time. We have 104 beds.

How many patient calls per on call shift (roughly)? 2-3 phone calls

Required procedures? C/sections, deliveries, ectopic, gyn emergencies, D&C, etc.

Who will the Locum be working with? (Nurses, Anesthesiologists, OB Nurses, ER Doctors, etc.)

How many case logs are required for credentialing? We request 2 years of case logs.

Will you consider new grads? The earliest we will consider someone is after 2 years of practice within their specialty.

What is the expected schedule? This call schedule is fluid, some are weekdays, some are weekends. Most are 24 hour shifts (unless otherwise stated), the start/end time is 7am-7am.

Will the call schedule be consultative only or would they be coming in for deliveries? The on call provider would be responsible for everything during their on call schedule that a regular provider would be (ie: normal births, c-sections, ER Consults, Hospitalist Consults, etc.)

What percentage of the deliveries are C-section? Approximately 24%

Do you deliver high risk pregnancies? Yes

Is there a NICU available? We have a Level 2, Special Care, nursery.
Do you require a BLS or any CPR certification? These are not required, but are desired.
