OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in Washington | 24 Hour Call | As Soon as Credentialed and Ongoing | Assignment #102390

Schedule Needed:
--As soon as credentialed through December 31
--24 hour call 7am-7am with 20 minute response time. Contact by cell phone. Clinic: 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
--7-8 call shifts/month, can be combined with clinic days
--3 days of clinic per week, 3 weeks per month preferred

Job Requirements:
--Board Certification – required, truly Board Eligible accepted
--State License – required, IMLC considered (LOQ must be uploaded or submission will be rejected)
--Malpractice – clean file preferred
--Certifications: BLS, ACLS, DEA
--Availability at time of name clear – required: specific dates and black out dates required for presentation
--Availability for orientation: required: specific dates required for presentation

Job Details:
--Setting: Critical Access Hospital and Clinic
--Duties: OB/GYN clinic care, OB and GYN call coverage through L&D Unit and ED.
--Required Procedures: C-Section, Ectopic
--EMR: Epic
--Support Staff: MA or LPN in clinic. L&D RNs at hospital
--Must be comfortable handling OB inductions from group, mostly emergent GYN surgeries.
--25 bed critical access hospital with 3 L&D beds and 4 post partum beds. Level I Nursery, Level I Trauma only 36 weeks and above.
--Typical Cases: OB: low risk/high risk, ultrasounds, amniocentesis. L&D: routine/complicated, VBACs, C-Sections. GYN: GYN Surgery
--# patients/day in clinic: 18
--Rounding required: only in post-op
--Sole provider on call - will have colleagues in clinic
--MFMs: Can refer out, not on site
--In house anesthesia
--Will do admits
--Average worked callback hours: weekday - 3-4 hours, weekend - 1-2 hours; weekday less than 50% weekday, weekends and ER.
