A healthcare organization in New York City is currently seeking a licensed OB/GYN for a promising position at their growing Queens facility. In this role, the OB/GYN will be responsible for caring for and treating women during prenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods as well as treating diseases of female anatomy.

About the Opportunity:

  • Shift: Daytime
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday (one Saturday per month)
  • Hours: 8am to 6pm (one late night shift per week)
  • Setting: Outpatient
  • Patient Volume: 2 to 3 per hour
  • Provider has Opportunity to do deliveries at hospitals if desired

Responsibilities:

The OB/GYN will:

  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results
  • Maintain complete and accurate medical records
  • Review patient's history and perform physical examination
  • Care for and treat women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods
  • Treat diseases of female organ
  • Advise patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention
  • Perform cesarean sections or other surgical procedures as needed to preserve patients' health and deliver babies safely

Qualifications:

  • M.D. / D.O.
  • Board Eligible / Certified
  • DEA/BLS/ACLS
  • 2+ years experience
  • Interest in Population Health

Desired Skills:

  • Laparoscopically trained
