Facility in Grand Island, NE seeking ObGyn locums coverage

Rates: $2700/24 hours with 4 hour gratis. $330/hr call back after 4 hours

Summary:
Facility in Grand Island, Nebraska, is seeking Ob-Gyn coverage for a 1:2 practice to start in December 2024. The provider will cover clinic, after-hours call, labor and delivery, and gynecologic surgery. The position involves 24-hour call shifts, with the clinic providing 10 days of call coverage per month in January, February, and March 2025. Providers are expected to be able to respond onsite within 30 minutes for emergencies.

Duties:

• Clinic duties, after-hours call, labor and delivery, and gynecologic surgery
• City call and CNM backup

Required Procedures:

• All standard gynecologic procedures in clinic and hospital settings

• EPIC

Support Staff:

• Front Desk and Clinical Support Staff, including ultrasound on-site

Credentialing Information:

• Timeframe: 60-90 days
• Requirements: Clinic, hospital, gynecologic, and obstetric privileges

Requirements:

• Board Certified: Required
• NE License: Required (IMLC accepted)
• BLS, DEA, NRP: Required
• Clean malpractice and background: Preferred
• Availability: Must provide availability at the time of name clear
• OB/GYN Residency: Required

Additional Facility Information:

• 10-20 clinic patients per day, with less than 1 delivery or surgery per day
• Call is typically 24 hours, covering both clinic and L&D/surgery needs.
• Clinic hours: 9 am - 5 pm, half-day clinics 9 am-12 pm or 1 pm-5 pm
