Wapiti Medical Staffing is Currently Hiring a General Surgeon for weekend locum coverage in Litchfield, Minnesota.
  1. Order Description:
    1. Type: Locum
    2. Position: Physician
    3. Role: OB/GYN with C Section and Clinic coverage
    4. Annual volume: 30 births/year. Approx Annual ER volume 4800.
    5. Any second coverage: Support system is on call surg tech, CRNA, surgical nurse, e hospitalists, e emergency, on call family practice.
    6. Shift options: Clinic during weekdays and on-call nights and weekend (Friday 5p - Monday 7a) for a 1-week block
      1. 20 minute call back time
    7. EMR: Epic
    8. Trauma level: 4
  3. Candidate Requirements:
    1. State License(s) accepted: MN
    2. DEA/CSR required: Yes
    3. Covid/Flu Vaccination Requirements: No
    4. BC/BE –BC or BE
    5. What boards are accepted? ABOG
    6. Residents: No
    7. Life Certifications needed: BLS
    8. Will facility accept CALS in lieu of ATLS: NA
    9. Procedures logs needed or past amount of experience required and in what timeframe: No
