Locums – Federal Way, Washington, OB/GYN Job (IMLC Accepted) Clinical Role:

  • 24-hour shifts 7a-7a, 6 shifts/mo
  • Very busy unit
  • There is a call room on site on L&D. The call room is private for the OB provider
  • Multiple part time locums accepted to fill schedule: NO, would prefer consistency
  • Site can be flexible on which weeks locums is available
  • Clinic shifts available: (8a-445p). We would want to book clinic days in advance so we can fill schedules. Ideally, we would book clinic days during the same time period as call days though not the same day or the day after 24 hour . 24 hr must be followed by a rest day. Clinic can be scheduled day before call shift, not after
  • Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
  • FTE: 1.0
  • Hospital: Vaginal deliveries, csections, triage if required after report from RN, ED consults and gyn surgeries as necessary
  • Clinic: OB and gyn patients
    • Required Procedures:
    • Manage L+D patients, NO DOCS
    • Assist CNMS/FPOBs
    • GYN coverage ER
    • Level 1 Nursery
    • Should be comfortable at CAH
  • EMR: Epic
  • Patients per Day: 2-5
  • Support Staff: L+D RNs, CNMs, FPOBs, X-ray tech, MA, RN, LPN/LVN, Lab tech
  • Reason for Coverage: Backfilling for current locum break/availability and maternity leave
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible – Required
  • Active WA License – Required or IMLC
  • BLS, DEA – Required
