DESCRIPTION:

The responsibilities will include inpatient coverage and triage, monitoring the progress of labor, conducting deliveries, performing surgical interventions when necessary, seeing emergency consultations for obstetrics and gynecology patients and referring or shipping other Urogyn patients based on evaluation.

Position Details:

• 12-15 shifts per month
• Night Shift 7:00p-7:00a during the week (Primary Need)
• Day 7a-7p
• **Can schedule up to 36 hours blocks on weekends**
• Perform deliveries, both vaginal and cesarean sections, as required, and provide immediate postpartum care.
• Take assigned and unassigned Emergency Dept. call for GYN and OB patients

REQUIRED:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification -Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Ohio state medical license and privileges to practice Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Case logs that show experience in managing labor and delivery, including proficiency in both vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
