The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist/Wake Forest School of Medicine is seeking a BC/BE AAGL fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join our high-volume referral-based practice at the Center for Fertility and Reproductive Surgery. This open-rank faculty position offers opportunities for academic and clinical collaboration with specialties such as Reproductive Endocrinology, Colorectal Surgery, Pain Medicine, and Urogynecology.
The MIGS practice focuses on treating complex benign gynecologic conditions using advanced minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopic, robotic-assisted, and hysteroscopic surgeries. The role also includes participation in the surgical education and career development of trainees.
Locations: High Point Medical Center, Guilford Ambulatory Surgical Center, The Birthing Center
Schedule: 8 half days per week, with equal participation in GYN call coverage
Your Team: Over 70 providers, including 38 faculty, 24 residents, and 12 fellows
This position is part of a strategic plan to expand Women’s Health subspecialties in High Point/Guilford County, with MIGS being the final subspecialty introduced to the market, joining Gyn Oncology and Urogyn. The MIGS practice has been growing over the past five years, with the new Hanestown ambulatory location opening in early 2021.

Qualifications:

- Experience at an academic medical center is a plus, but not required
