UVA Community Health is seeking to employ a Board Certified Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician to join our amazing team in Culpeper, Virginia.
Join a recognized leader in OB/GYN, where your input will be valued at our practice. We are currently recruiting for both full time and PRN positions. We are affiliated with the University of Virginia Medical Center, widely recognized for its quality of care and the #1 Hospital in Virginia, according to U.S. News and World Report. Our providers care for women with both low- and high-risk pregnancies. Our obstetrics and gynecological surgeons and maternal-fetal medicine sub-specialists work with referring physicians in the community to provide comprehensive care to women with high-risk pregnancies. When medically necessary, we work with UVA Medical Center to transfer care, where the NICU and other advanced services are available for women and babies.
- Seven call shifts per month (24-hour)
- Day after call there are no clinical responsibilities
- 50-60 deliveries/month
- Average of 24 patients a day in clinic
- Blocked OR time
- Access to Davinci robot coming this summer 2023
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an MD or DO, have completed an OB/GYN residency, and be board certified or an active candidate for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Excellent clinical skills, a passion for delivering care in a community setting, enthusiasm for medical education, and an interest in collaborating in clinical research are encouraged.
