CLINIC HOURS:
- Monday to Wednesday, 8:00am to 6:00pm
- Thursday, 8:00am to 8:00pm
- Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm


COMPENSATION:
- $260,000 to $375,000 Base Salary, dependent upon experience

COMPANY PROFILE:
Having opened its first office more than 20 years ago, this organization is now the largest physician-led outpatient medical practice in the greater NYC metro area. In addition to robust primary care offerings, they also operate specialty service lines in cardiology, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, allergy and immunology, dermatology, and more. Their large staff of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants are supported by dedicated team members, utilizing resources such as on-site laboratory services.


POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position will provide full scope ob/gyn services. The physician will diagnose and treat a wide variety of ob/gyn conditions with a focus on improving patient outcomes.

Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

- review patient histories and perform physical examinations
- conduct physical evaluations and diagnostic tests to determine diagnoses
- provide appropriate treatment and patient care plans
- care for and treat women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods
- treat diseases of female organs
- provide patient-centered care incorporating psychosocial and physical needs
- participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings as needed
- perform cesarean sections and other surgical procedures as needed

Procedures may include, but are not limited to:

- biopsies (cervical, endometrial, skin, vaginal, vulvar)
- cystoscopy
- colposcopy
- insertion and removal of subdermal contraception
- IUD placement
- intrauterine pressure catheter placement
- laparoscopic surgeries
- open procedures

A variable number of patients per day are seen, based upon provider preference for patient volume and types of appointments scheduled.

All visits are prepped and supported by dedicated clinical and/or surgical assistants.

The practice utilizes the Epic EHR.

There will be participation in the on-call rotation - the practice will provide details during initial interviews.


REQUIREMENTS:
- New York medical license
- DEA
- Board Certification, OB/GYN
- laparoscopically trained
- 2+ years OB/GYN experience
