Locums – Hickory, North Carolina, OB/GYN Hospitalist Opening Clinical Role:

      • November 27
      • December 19, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29
    • Need current NC license, no open malpractice cases
    • Scheduled Clinic Hours + Call
    • EMR: Cerner
    • Admissions Required
    • Assigned Patients
    • Patients Per Shift: 3
    • Beds in Department: 8
    • Board Certified/Board Eligible – Required
    • Active NC License – Required
    • ACLS, BLS – Required
    • Call Type: Beeper
    • Call Response Time Required: 30 minutes
    • Call Ratio: 1:3
    • Site is looking for urgent end of month coverage. Must have active NC license and clean history to get through emergency priviliges.
    • Documentation of Patient Contact Hours (included call back hours included in the rate and charged call back hours)
    • Physicians are required to provide supporting notes listed on their timesheet entries to verify Call Back hours (patient contact hours) mentioned above and Overtime hours submitted and associated with the acceptable occurrences mentioned above
    • Physicians must document in the timesheet the specific reason for the call back and they should have a description such that the note can be validated if an audit report
    • Telephone calls and medical record reviews should not be considered on site call back
    • Physician is not required to be on-site while providing Call Support
