Position Type: 1099 Locum Tenens
Position: OBGYN Physician
Location: CO
Start Date: October 2024
Length/Need: 1 physician needed, Until December

Travel & Lodging will be covered or reimbursed
Medical Malpractice will be covered

Compensation: $2200-$2300, call back, etc.

Schedule:
  • Call only, 24 hrs. (7a-7a)
  • Average worked callback hrs: 4-5
Details:
  • Setting: Inpatient, Emergency Room, Call Trauma Level III
  • Census: Patient population, Adolescent, Adult;
  • Number of beds: 8
  • 1 Admission per day
  • 30 deliveries per month
  • EMR is EPIC
Procedures & skills required:
  • Low risk pregnancy, High risk pregnancy
  • FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
  • OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation
  • Level I/Screening (viability)
  • Level II/Targeted (anatomic)
  • Amniocentesis, Routine delivery, Vagina, Low forceps
  • Decision-making for c-section
  • Complicated delivery, C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBAC's
  • Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
  • Office/minor gynecology - IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
  • Surgical gynecology - Open
  • Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation
  • Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's
  • Laser certification
Requirements:
  • Board Certified
  • Active CO license and Active DEA
  • BLS
  • Clean Malpractice
