- Call only, Call ratio 1:3, Call back 50 %, Call type Beeper
- 24 hr. in-house call
- Practice Setting- Inpatient
- Patients per shift 1-2, Beds in dept 10
- Trauma level 1
- 240 deliveries per year
Procedures & skills required:
- Low risk pregnancy, High risk pregnancy
- FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
- OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation
- Level I/Screening (viability)
- Level II/Targeted (anatomic)
- Routine delivery, Vagina
- Decision-making for c-section
- Complicated delivery, C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBAC's
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Surgical gynecology - Open
- Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation
- Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's
Requirements:
- Board Certified
- Active OR license or IMLC
- BLS
- Clean Malpractice
