DESCRIPTION:

Seeking an OB hospitalist for 24-hour in-house coverage in Petersburg, VA.

The ideal candidate will be available to work 4-8 shifts per month.

Coverage needed starting late October, with a continuous need thereafter

REQUIRED:

• VA state license; active, unrestricted
• BC or truly BE (within 5 years of training)
• VA DEA
• Lifesaving Certifications (BLS required, NRP/PALS preferred)
• MUST have at least 100 minimum deliveries (not assisted) in past 24 months and approx 25 GYN cases in past 12 months (Logs required during credentialing)

COMPENSATION:

· Competitive Market Rate (rate based on availability, experience, certifications, housing, and transportation needs, etc.)

· Malpractice insurance provided
