Compensation:
- $310 - $320 hourly
- Clinic + Call
- Monday-Friday 8a - 5p, and 1:3 call(nights and weekends)
- Provider must be willing/able to do both OB and GYN call.
- The facility’s weekend call is from 8 am Saturday through 8 am Monday. Provider must be able to commit to these times.
- Provider cannot be greater than 30 minutes from the hospital during their call commitments.
- Setting: Clinic, hospital, and call
- Total number of beds: 15
- No APPs at this time. Support staff: medical assistant, RN, sonographer
- 2-3 exam rooms, Onsite lab and ultrasound
- Basic OB/GYN services including colpo
- About 50/50 low risk vs. high risk pregnancies
- 60% of practice is GYN
- EMR: Cerner
- Low risk pregnancy – Pt’s with pre-existing problems, history of twins, history of toxemia, pyelonephritis, hyperemesis, etc.
- High risk pregnancy – Pt.’s with toxemia, diabetes, Class II or higher cardiacs, chronic lung problems, chronic renal disease, etc.
- FHR interpretation – NST/CST/FSE
- OB ultrasounds - Performance of Interpretation
- Amniocentesis
- Routine delivery–Vaginal, low forceps, decision-making for C-section
- Complicated delivery –C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, etc.
- VBAC’s
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Office/minor gynecology –IUD, Cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
- Surgical gynecology *– open
- Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only –tubal ligation, LOA’s, chronal tubation
- Operative/major (includes diagnostic) – ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA’s
- Board Certified or Eligible
- Active IL license or IMLC (highly preferred)
- Must be available to offer 1 week per month
- BLS, ACLS
- NRP
