Geisinger, one of the premier tertiary medical systems on the east coast, serving the northeast and central Pennsylvania regions, is recruiting an OB Laborist to join the team at Geisinger Medical Center (GMC), in Danville, Pennsylvania and Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital (GBH), Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.Job Duties
The ideal candidate will be a great team player, experience working with midwives and residents and enjoys co-managing with them. In this role you will focus on giving inpatient care to pregnant women, managing labor and delivery on both an emergency and routine basis. GMC has approximately 2000 deliveries per year, and GBH has 500. GMC is also supported by a level IV NICU.
