Position Overview:

Facility is seeking a board-certified OB/GYN physician to fill an urgent need in their team. This role involves a mix of clinic hours, hospital rounds, and on-call responsibilities, with a focus on both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, as well as gynecological surgery.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule:
    • Clinic: Monday-Thursday 9 AM – 4:30 PM; Friday 9 AM – 3:30 PM.
    • Call: 24-hour call from 7 AM Sunday to 7 AM Monday.
  • Call-Back Percentage:
    • Weekdays: 2%, Weekends: 5%, OB: 20%, GYN: 80%.
  • Caseload:
    • Low-risk pregnancy: 40%, High-risk pregnancy: 30%, C-section: 30%, Office GYN: 80%, Surgical GYN: 20%.
    • Clinic: Average 20 patients/day, Hospital: 1-2 patients/day.
    • Average deliveries: 3 per physician.
    • Average GYN Surgeries: 1-3 in the clinic, 1-2 in the hospital per week.
  • Group Composition:
    • 5 OB/GYNs in the group, supported by 3.5 mid-level providers.
    • No supervision required for other healthcare providers.
  • Worksite Resources:
    • Onsite Lab & Ultrasound (performed by a technician).
    • 12 exam rooms with full ancillary support staff.
    • EMR: Used in both clinic and hospital settings.
  • Required Procedures:
    • Management of low-risk and high-risk pregnancies.
    • Fetal heart rate (FHR) interpretation, OB ultrasounds (Level I & II), routine and complicated deliveries, VBACs, repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations.
    • Office/minor gynecology (IUDs, colposcopy, LEEP), surgical gynecology (tubal ligation, ectopic pregnancy, hysterectomy, etc.).
  • Preferred Procedures: Performance and interpretation of OB ultrasounds.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified in OB/GYN (REQUIRED).
  • Active Colorado License or IMLC (REQUIRED).
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP Certifications (REQUIRED).
  • Availability: Must be available for weekend coverage as listed.
  • Start Date: Must be available to start ASAP.
  • Clean Malpractice and Background (REQUIRED).
  • COVID-19 Vaccinated (REQUIRED).
