Genesis Medical Center is looking for an OB/GYN physician to start ASAP, covering at least 2 weeks per month or more!
This is primarily a Hospital-based need covering OB/GYN in Labor and Deliver/ER (inpatient support needed vs clinic support)

- Coverage needed ASAP-ongoing
- MUST have strong OB and GYN experience.
- Monday-Friday 8a - 5p, and 1:3 call(nights and weekends)
- Will accept locum or locum-to-perm(L2P position is job #46652)
- Setting: Clinic, hospital, and call
- Total number of beds: 15
- Estimated 44 deliveries per month
- No APPs at this time
- Support staff: medical assistant, RN, sonographer
- 2-3 exam rooms
- Onsite lab and ultrasound
- Basic OB/GYN services including colpo
- About 50/50 low risk vs. high risk pregnancies
- 60% of practice is GYN
- EMR: Cerner

- Cred timeframe: 30-90 days
Job Responsibilities
Qualifications
IL license or IMLC - highly preferred
NRP - Required
Must have strong OB and GYN experience
Full Time Availability strongly preferred, but will accept 2 weeks/month at minimum
Local providers are highly preferred
Genesis requires Case Logs for the past 2 years.
Working Hours
On Call Requirements: 1:3 nights and weekends
Call Requirements:
Provider must be willing/able to do both OB and GYN call.
The facility’s weekend call is from 8 am Saturday through 8 am Monday. Provider must be able to commit to these times.
Provider cannot be greater than 30 minutes from the hospital during their call commitments.
