- Key Responsibilities:
- Attend to obstetric emergencies and provide timely intervention during labor and delivery.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic examinations.
- Perform deliveries, both vaginal and cesarean sections, as required, and provide immediate postpartum care.
- Take assigned and unassigned Emergency Dept. call for GYN and OB patients
- Perform urgent and emergent gynecology consults, including surgical inventions for hospital patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, midwives, and anesthesiologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in patient education regarding prenatal and postpartum care, family planning, and general women's health.
- Respond promptly to obstetric and gynecologic consultations, contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Keep accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in obstetric and gynecologic medicine through continuous education and professional development.
- Requirements
- Board Certified/ Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Active OH License or IMLC in Hand Required
- ABLS, BLS
- Low and High Risky Pregnancy, FHR Interpretation - NST/CST/FSE, Amniocentesis, Routine Delivery, Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision Making for C-Section, Complicated Delivery: C-Section, Multiple Births, Repair of 3rd and 4th Degree Lacerations, Surgical Gynecology, Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's chronal tubation, Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's
