OBGYN

Our client was founded in 1998 and is a leading women’s healthcare group with 110 locations and over 400 OB/GYNs and specialists across the country. The OB/GYN role is full scope practice and located in Jacksonville, FL

Salary and Benefits:

  • Sign On Bonus: $100,000
    • Paid out in one lump sum or choice of spreading it out as a retention bonus over 5 years
  • Base Salary: Aggressive compensation package per MGMA guidelines and based on years of experience

  • Additional Compensation: Productivity Model with a 3x annual salary threshold

  • CME: 5 Days with $2500 allowance

Responsibilities:

  • Monday – Thursday 8AM – 4:30 PM, Friday 8AM – 12PM
  • Daily outpatient caseload is around 20 patients
  • Hospital Call – 1:6. On average 1 day per week call, and every 6th weekend.
    • The weekend call is Fri-Sun. First call triage is covered by nurse
  • Admitting hospital is Baptist Medical Center South
    • IOL and C/S are normally scheduled on provider call day early morning or lunch.
    • Might flow into call day schedule based upon volume.
    • Goal is to schedule GYN surgeries early morning or lunch to prevent blocking patient access office hours. If volume ramps up, then a day will be blocked for GYN surgeries.
  • 700 deliveries annually

Requirements:

  • MD/DO
  • Current valid license or ability to obtain a medical license to practice medicine in the State of Florida
  • Current DEA certificate or ability to obtain
  • Board eligibility in OB/GYN (ABOG, AOBOG) is required; board certification is required within 5 years of achieving initial eligibility and ongoing employment is contingent upon this
  • Current BLS required
