Mary Rutan Health in Bellefontaine, Ohio is seeking an OB/GYN to join a well-respected, well-established, and growing practice. As an independent, progressive, community hospital in a BEST HOMETOWN in Ohio, Mary Rutan Health provides the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine with local governance and collegial and collaborative physicians.

Job Description:
  • The position is for a direct-hire physician on a full-time basis.
  • Applicants should be committed to contributing to the hospital's growth.
  • Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a four-day work week consisting of one surgery day and three clinic days.
  • The on-call ratio is no less than 1:3 for both weekdays and weekends.
  • On-call duties include rounding at the Birth Center, handling deliveries, and conducting clinic visits.
  • The hospital handles an average of 350 births per year at a Level 1 nursery.
  • Physicians will need to travel to three additional clinic locations within 15-25 minutes of the hospital. The hospital has minimal OB/GYN staffing at these additional sites.
  • The role includes inpatient rounds.
  • Physicians will conduct clinic visits.
  • The documentation system/EMR used is Meditech Expanse.
  • Candidates willing to start as soon as possible are highly preferred.
  • Accepting new graduate candidates as far out as 2025.
  • Not open to 1099 candidates.
  • Not accepting candidates who have lapsed BC and need to obtain again.
  • Open to J1 visa candidates, but cannot accept H1B visa candidate.
  • Not open to providers who want to commute more than 1/2 hour and/or in conjunction with another job(s) - must live within 30-minute response time or be willing to relocate.
  • Not open to candidates seeking alternate shift schedules.
  • Not open to Locums candidates.
